Artist Statement

      A short statement (100-200 words) that gives an overview of your artistic ideas, goals and practice. It can include content about your aesthetics as well as your technical or work process and materials.

Artist Bio 

       A brief description of you, your art, life, education, training, experience and 

       your artistic journey. This type of piece usually comes in at 100-150 words, 

       but could always be longer and more detailed.

Individual Art Piece Description

      A short written description (50-100 words) that describes specific aspects and

Solo Exhibition Description or Proposal

     Usually a mid-length statement (500-1000 words). It describes your overall 

     artistic vision, practice and outlook as well as the theme of the exhibit and 

     the works in it. This type of piece gives you an opportunity to communicate 

     with your viewing audience more deeply.

Technical Statement

      A short description of how your work was created or executed and what  

      material you use.  It would also talk about what sort of techniques are 

      central to creating your work.

Cultural Statement

     A short description about the cultural roots, context, ideas, technique or 

     group you have employed or referenced in the production of your art.
